This pilot program is subsidized for area manufacturers. Senior leaders (CEOs, Operations Managers, Industrial Engineers and others involved in process improvement) are encouraged to register.

This subsidized program is for area manufacturers, including the 16 member municipalities of the County of Simcoe and the Cities of Barrie and Orillia. Companies from throughout Central Ontario are encouraged to also submit an application and will be considered if space permits.

Schedule:

The program will take place virtually using Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 – 10 am for 3 weeks.

Week 1: Awareness Building - March 9th & 11th 8:00-10:00am

Industry 4.0 fundamentals & technological advancements, industry case studies, self-assessment and project identification

Week 2: Industry Applications - March 16th & 18th 8:00-10:00am

Artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive maintenance and augmented reality, ERP, logistics, and warehouse automation

Week 3: Explore Opportunities - March 23rd & 25th 8:00-10:00am

Sensors and IIoT, Customized assistance (1:1 virtual consultations) to help build your innovation plan and funding opportunities, ROI and Decision Trees
